Montessori, Naíonra
& Afterschool Care

Smarty Pants is proud to be participating in the free preschool year through the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) scheme.

The ECCE is a new scheme designed to give children access to one free preschool year immediately before they start primary school. Participation in a preschool programme provides children with their first formal experience of early learning, the starting point of their educational and social development outside the home. Children who avail of preschool are more likely to be ready for school and a formal learning and social environment.

This scheme applies to our sessional Montessori service which runs for three hours per day.
